Hi, I'm Kim -
Grief & Loss Coach

I truly believe that the hard things that feel like they're breaking us can actually be the start of finding who we really are. My life has been full of those heavy seasons and quiet moments of just getting through.

Only a few months after having my baby, my dad passed away. I had to learn how to be a new mom while my heart was breaking for my father. Later on, losing a pregnancy reminded me just how messy life is, holding both so much love and so much pain at once.

I spent years pouring everything into my family, but I eventually realized I had lost the woman I used to be. After my marriage ended, I had to stop and figure out who I was all over again.

Then, a breast cancer diagnosis stopped me in my tracks. It was scary, but it taught me how to slow down, breathe, and trust my own gut more than ever.

Every one of these moments, as tough as they were, led me here: to walk with you as you find your own way back home to yourself.

Returning Home To You

For the past few years, I've had the privilege of working as a birth & postpartum doula, supporting families as they welcome new life into the world. It's work that has taught me so much about the importance of simply being there, offering a steady hand, a listening ear, and a little reassurance when it's needed most.

More recently, life led me to the other end of that journey.

After losing my beloved mother-in-law, who had been a mother figure and dear friend for nearly 40 years, something shifted in me. Being there during her final chapter was heartbreaking, but also one of the greatest privileges of my life. It reminded me that sometimes the most meaningful thing we can offer someone is simply our presence.

That experience inspired me to pursue further education in End of Life Care. I've come to believe that both the beginning and the end of life deserve the same tenderness, dignity, and compassion.

Today, I'm a certified Grief & Loss Coach through Seeds of Growth Academy, and I'm continuing my education toward certification in End of Life Care.

Through Spaces In Between, I offer a soft place to land for anyone navigating grief and life's many losses, whether that's the death of someone you love, divorce, a difficult health journey, burnout, or even the quiet ache of an empty nest.

I don't believe grief needs to be fixed or that healing should ever be rushed. There's no timeline to follow and no expectation to have it all figured out. Sometimes we simply need a safe space to breathe, feel heard, and gently rediscover our footing.

I believe we all deserve that kind of space.

And if I have the privilege of walking beside you as you find your way forward, it would truly be my honour.

Finding your way forward, one step at a time.
